Bulgogi Grille Korean Bar and Restaurant, the fastest-growing Korean restaurant in the Philippines operated by a Dubai-based Filipino businessman, has announced it is now open for franchise agreement.

“We want to offer our fellow Filipinos as well as other nationals here in the UAE a business proposition,” said Gabriel John Remando, who also runs educational institutions in the Gulf region.

“As you may know, Korean dining destinations is the in thing among food-living Filipinos. Bulgogi Grille which offers a range of Korean culinary wonders is one of the best business ventures to embark on,” he added.

Remando noted studies have shown that Filipinos love to dine out at least once a week. This, he said, adds to restaurant businesses’ unique selling proposition (USP).

Bulgogi Grille, which has at least three locations – Timog Avenue corner Tomas Morato Avenue in Quezon City; Valenzuela City and Trece Martires City in Cavite – serves a range of Korean cuisine.

Bulgogi, Korean for “fire meat”, is a gui or grilled dish made of thin, marinated slices of meat, usually beef, which are grilled on a barbecue or a stove-top griddle. It is also often stir-fried in a pan in home cooking. Sirloin, rib eye or brisket are frequently used cuts of beef for the dish.

Remando said there were two franchise options – co-owner or solo franchisee.

The package includes grand opening assistance; proprietary marks, use of trade name, marketing materials, manpower assistance, kitchen and dining equipment, renovation and signage, bar equipment, initial supplies inventory as well as Food Panda and Grab Food Assistance among others.
