Bounty Beets, a themed, casual-dining restaurant that sets one in the middle of a cherry blossom right in Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, has whipped up a great deal for the ongoing Summer Restaurant Week, which kicked off on 12 August, a Friday.  

On the spread is a three-course dinner menu for AED150 per person, the regular price of which could run to over AED200.

The selections are divine.

‘Caul Me Cheesy.’

There are three choices for starters – “Caul Me Cheesy,” which is cauliflower-based pizza with mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese and garlic oil; “Bounty Soup,” which is roasted pumpkin, carrot, maple, coconut milk and pumpkin seeds’ and “Wanna Poke?” – honey soy-marinated yellow fin tuna, sticky rice, edamame, seaweed with spicy aioli.

Mains is a choice of “Let’s Meat Up,” a meaty, medium-sized pizza with tomato, sesame, pepper, soy-marinated beef, scallion and chili flakes;   “The Elle Woods,” marinated chickpeas, avocado, cucumber, onion, tomato, vegan mayo and bagel spread; and “Taquero Mucho,” three grilled, soft beef tacos in coleslaw, apple cilantro salsa and yogurt dressing.

Dessert is a choice between “Cake it Easy,” walnut cake in orange custard topped with an orange sorbet; or the “Snack Bar,” cashew cream, candied peanuts, vegan salted caramel and chocolate ganache.

The meal comes with a bottled water. Vegetarian options are available on request.

‘Let’s Meat Up.’

There is also a two-course lunch menu for AED95 with choices like “Hot Mess,”  savoury slow cooked pulled chicken, corn, carrot, tomato, and jalapeño; “Don’t Kale My Vibe,” a mix of kale, beets, onion, avocado, pumpkin seeds, and herb dressing; or “Noods Bowl,”  rice noodle salad with edamame, baby radish, red cabbage, peanut sauce with chicken – for starters.

Mains would be either “Smashville,” Nashville-style grilled chicken, with coleslaw, pickle served with air-fried sweet potato; or “Jack Sparrow,” which is pulled BBQ, with jackfruit and coleslaw served with corn on the cob;” or “Curry On,” which is a bit Thai-ish with prawn, peppers, bamboo shoot and green curry served with coconut rice.

Desserts would also be a choice between “Cake It Easy” and “Snack Bar.”

Also available is a AED69 one-course breakfast meal with three choices for mains, two choices for juice and three choices for a hot drink.

Summer Restaurant Week, part of the 25th anniversary edition of Dubai Summer Surprises started on 12 August and runs until 28 August.  

Restaurants’ offers range from breakfast for AED69, a two-course lunch for AED95, a three-course dinner for AED150, and kids’ menus from AED25, plus a bottle of water included with lunch and dinner. This is the second time that Summer Restaurant Week takes place
