‘Tis the season to be merry and to celebrate the festive season, DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island has a raft of special events and activities starting this December.
From all the favorites festive meals, cookie decorating to event packages, Christmas brunches and a New Year’s Eve gala, the calendar is jam-packed with celebrations.
Spread a little sparkle
To kick off the festive season, the property invites guests to the lobby on December 8 for the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony as everyone gathers to sing carols and enjoy mulled grape and hot chocolate.
For those looking to spread the joy with a little party at home, in the office, in one of the resort’s bars or events spaces, food and drink packages are available to suit all budgets. Packages start from AED 299 for minimum 15 people and bookings are essential.
Christmas cookie decorating class
Piping bags at the ready! Kids can roll up their sleeves and let their imagination run wild while decorating some treats this holiday season. After unleashing their creativity, kids will be able to take pictures with Santa and receive a special gift. Classes will be held at 3:00pm to 4:00pm from 18 to 23 December at Vespa & Brasserie. The event is free for in house guests and AED 95 for non-guests.
Turkey dinner delivered to your door
Turkey lovers rejoice. From December 23 to 25, you can enjoy a turkey dinner with all the trimmings from the comfort of your own hotel room. For AED 699, succulent turkey with roasted potatoes, sautéed vegetables including of cauliflower, broccoli, beans, Brussel sprouts, carrots, traditional herb jus and cranberry sauce, will be delivered to your door.
Eat, drink and be merry with Christmas brunches
On December 24, the resort will hold its first Christmas Eve Drunch where guests can enjoy vibrant tunes with the joyful company of Santa and indulge in culinary delights from across five dining venues in a joyful evening atmosphere from 6:00pm. On Christmas Day, the resort will celebrate the 25th with the Islander’s Christmas Brunch, filled with Santa hats, cheery vibes and a festive twist on the iconic brunch spread.
Welcome 2023 in style at our New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner
Join us in a spectacular celebration this New Year with a Gala Dinner under the glittering sky of Ras Al Khaimah. Count down to 2023 from the prime viewing spot at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island and enjoy the fireworks spectacle.
To tantalize your taste buds, the resort will be putting on an around the world buffet with each country represented in its own style. The festivities will kick on at the XclusiV Night Club after party from 12:00am until 3:00am. Packages are AED 999 per person, free for kids below 6 years and 50% off for kids aged 6 to 12 years.
